We are so pleased to have officially started our 2020 opal mining season at the Russell's opal mine. As it is a newly acquired site for us, we have plenty of work in store. The first thing we did was fit out our shipping containers as living and storage quarters and build some arches between each of the containers for shade during heavy machinery work and storage. The shade will be a real blessing too, come the hotter weather. We also have new rain water tanks and solar power, which are also essential when you are off the grid.
